Medical gas alarm systems by Tecnomed monitor hospital gas pressure levels with smart sensors, WiFi control, and LCD display. Audible and visual alerts ensure safety.

The medical gas alarm is a smart indicator panel used in hospitals to monitor the pressure levels of oxygen, vacuum, medical air 4 bar, medical air 7 bar, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen oxide gases. It provides visual and audible alarms when gas pressures deviate from preset thresholds, ensuring safety in critical areas like operating rooms, ICUs, and patient floors.

Equipped with pressure sensors such as 4-20 mA and 0-12 V, these alarm systems accurately detect gas pressure in copper pipelines and reflect real-time data on an LCD screen. Tecnomed medical gas alarm systems support remote monitoring via WiFi or server connection and offer RS 232, RS 485, VC outputs for integration into hospital infrastructure.

Each gas type has configurable lower and upper pressure limits—for example, oxygen and N2O range between 3 to 8 bar, medical air 7 between 5 to 9 bar, vacuum from -400 to -760 mmHg. Nurses and technicians can adjust alarm settings via touchscreen control and password access. Honeywell sensors are integrated for maximum reliability. With centralized monitoring capability, a single panel can supervise multiple locations or even multiple hospitals from one center.

Medical gas alarm panels are generally located on nurse station back walls, next to regional gas control panels, or inside ICUs. They are essential for early detection of gas drops or overloads, minimizing patient risks and system failures.
