Anesthesia Gas Scavenging System for Operating Rooms

Anesthesia Gas Scavenging Systems (AGSS) are used in hospital operating rooms to evacuate residual anesthetic gases like nitrous oxide. These systems connect to pendants with nitrogen oxide outlets and route waste gas away via copper pipes and AGSS exhaust lines.
Tecnomed AGSS products use Venturi or Blower-based suction methods and allow pressure adjustments to match anesthesia flow rates. Improper suction may disrupt devices, increase CO2, or hinder patient safety. Systems include perforated exhaust pipes for gas release.
AGSS units are integrated into surgical pendants and anesthesia pendants, and work alongside anesthesia machines to maintain clean air. Tecnomed designs comply with HTM 02-01 and MDD 93/42/EEC standards and are trusted for efficiency and safety in ORs.
